On the 2nd of March 2008 my father and I went up to lake Rotoiti for the classic boat show. We brought up a hydroplane called Thunderbolt . Dad did a classic hydroplane demonstration . There was also another hydroplane up there owned by my dads friend Glen and his friend Pete. They got it out in the water but before it got a chance of getting up onto the plane it started severly smoking. Unfotunately we couldn't get it going.
On Monday dad and I went to Picton to to see a man's boat . It turned out there was only 8 of this type of Reaba still in the world.
