Wasting Water

Today we did an experiment about how many litres of water were wasted when cleaning your teeth.
We looked at how many litres were wasted by room 7 people and their families in a day. That was if each person in each family left the tap running while brushing their teeth. We worked out that if you we wasted about two litres of water each brushing. We based it on each person brushing their teeth twice a day.
The answer was 652 litres!

The next one we looked was how many in a week,
the answer was 4,614 litres!

And the last one we looked at was how many litres in a year,
the answer was 237,328 litres!!!!!

What an incredible amount of water we could save by turning the tap off! We would also save money!
Check out your task on the post below.
