Craft Pottery

We spent the morning at craft pottery making clay animals. We had the choice of making a rabbit, cat or dog.  Here are some tips for working with clay.
Make sure your hands aren't too hot, so it doesn't dry out. We used wet sponges to keep it slightly moist and our hands cool. You have to smooth over any cracks, especially in joins. The clay needs to be hollowed out a bit oat the end, or it is too thick to fire.
