In the holidays my family and I went to Guernsey. Guernsey is on the other side of the world in the Channel Islands near France. It took 27 from Nelson to Guernsey hours to get there. Declan showed us how to use 3D Weather Globe to see how far it was. It was an amazing 19 051.2km!
Dad didn't tell us until the week before. So we all got a big surprise when we found out. We went to see my nan. She was the only person who knew we were coming. So everyone there also got a big surprise when we arrived.
In Guernsey we went bowling, to the movies and went out every night.
The trip was fantastic.
