The Holiday

AAAAGH!! I gasped, holding my stomach, as we rounded ANOTHER bend on the way to Hamner Springs. I groaned. I was getting carsick, mainly because we hadn't stopped once in the whole six hours that we had been travelling!!! At long last, however, we finally passed the turn-off that was a kilometre from Hamner itself. I did so much whooping and cheering, I honestly thought I was going to blast the car's roof off!!!
We got to our HHH(Hamner Holiday Homes) and burst into the bedrooms. The twins had big beds, and I had a Queen-sized one. On Tuesday and Thursday we went to the hot pools. On Tuesday, we were lucky to get out before the tremendous downpour!!

Then it was driving for another two hours before we reached Christchurch ( luckily we have third-cousins who live in Kaiapoi, so we stayed there while Mum called a motel to book for Thursday and Friday night). We had a reasonable-sized unit( even though I had to sleep on an uncomfortable camp bed in Mum and Dad's room that creaked whenever I moved ).
My favourite part in Christchurch was when we went to a restaurant. I had a "takeaway" meal and for dessert I ate steamed pudding covered in Chocolate/Vanilla ice cream and sprinkles. After wards we played in th ball pit that they had there, which was great fun.
Before we knew it, though, it was time to go home. It was a holiday to remember.
