Rain Forest Animals


South America has the biggest rain forest in the world. It's called the Amazon. One of the most amazing animals in it is the Anaconda it is one of the worlds largest snakes. It can grow to about 9 metres long. Usually they lie on a branch above water waiting to drop down on its prey.

Another interesting animal is the Sloth. It's one of the slowest moving animals in the world.They can sleep up to 18 hours a day. They spend most of there time in trees. Predators can not see them when they hang there quietly. The Sloth and the Anaconda are two amazing creatures.
